Dick Stieglitz’s groundbreaking work in change management and his success in helping executives, corporations, and government agencies use change to achieve success have earned him the title of the “Change Doctor.”
Dick pioneered the Integrated Change Management (ICM) methodology to help Federal agencies (the largest business on earth) transform how they do business. He recently sold the company to devote time to writing, consulting, and speaking. He publishes a monthly e-letter called “The Change Challenge,” and frequently speaks at industry and government forums on the topic of change and new trends in a changing world.
After earning a Ph.D. in nuclear engineering, Dick served ten years in the U.S. Navy refueling nuclear submarines before moving into the corporate world. He was VP of a software company, then Director of Defense Consulting for an aerospace firm. Taming the Dragons of Change in Business is based on his thirty-five years of experience working with business and government leaders to make change work in complex environments. He is also author of Taming The Dragons of Change - 10 Tips for Achieving Happiness and Success When Everything Around You is Changing. Dick and his wife, Mary Ellen, live in Potomac, Maryland.
